Congratulations to Martin Binks who has reached the feat of 400 appearances for the club in the 2nd XI’s victory over North Stainley 2nd XI at the ACG on the 21st July 2018.

Martin becomes only the 2nd player in Arthington league history to make 400 appearances, and is second only behind Arthington legend Brian Meredith (432 appearances) as the clubs most capped player. Known more for his wicket-keeping than his batting, Martin averages just 2.22 in 130 innings for the club, registering a total of 130 runs. Martin has never bowled a ball in a competitive league match! Martin is also well known and well respected for his off-field activities for the club and league, having occupied the posts of Secretary, Treasurer and Fixture Secretary among others. He is currently also Hon. Secretary for the Nidderdale League. Congratulations again to Martin from all at Arthington Cricket Club.
